﴿قَدۡ نَعۡلَمُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيَحۡزُنُكَ ٱلَّذِي يَقُولُونَۖ فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَا يُكَذِّبُونَكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ يَجۡحَدُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 33]
﴿قد نعلم إنه ليحزنك الذي يقولون فإنهم لا يكذبونك ولكن الظالمين بآيات﴾ [الأنعَام: 33]
| Dr Kamal Omar Surely We know (that) indeed that definitely gives you grief what they utter. So truly (speahead of state) they do not deny you, rather the transgressors strive and argue against the Ayaat of Allah |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Surely, We know that what they say disheartens thee. Truly, they deny thee not. Rather the ones who are unjust negate the signs of God |
| Dr Munir Munshey We do know that their remarks cause you grief. But it is not just you they are calling a liar. Rather, these evildoers have actually rejected the revelations of Allah |
| Edward Henry Palmer Full well we know that verily that which they say grieves thee; but they do not call thee only a liar for the unjust gainsay the signs of God |
