Therefore, entertain the profound reverence dutiful to Allah to the best and open your hearts' ears to what Allah and His Messenger relate to you, and de not deviate from the path of righteousness, and spend of your wealth in benefaction and in benevolence for your own good. And he who resists the incitement arising from the state of mind and feeling and guards himself against an unjust act and impiety, inequity and greed, niggardliness and immorality and such vices, shall heaven prosper him and such persons

Dr Kamal Omar
So pay obedience to Allah as you could, and listen (to the Ordainments in Al-Kitab), and obey and spend (in accordance with the teachings in Allah’s Scripture); (that is) better for your ownselves. And whosoever is saved from the covetousness of his own Nafs, then those people: they (very ones are) those who have achieved success
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar
So be Godfearing of God as much as you were able and hear and obey and spend. That is good for yourselves, and whoever is protected from his own stinginess, then, those, they are the ones who prosper
Dr Munir Munshey
(Practice righteousness and restraint), and fear Allah as much as you can. Listen and obey, and give charity. It is for your own good. The successful ones are really those who escape the greed within their own selves
Edward Henry Palmer
Then fear God as much as ye can! and hear, and obey, and expend in alms: it is better for yourselves. But whosoever is saved from his own covetousness - these are the prosperous
Farook Malik
Therefore, fear Allah as much as you can, listen to His message attentively, be obedient, and be charitable, this is for your own good. Those who are saved from the covetousness of their own souls, it is they who are truly successful
George Sale
Wherefore fear God, as much as ye are able; and hear, and obey: And give alms, for the good of your souls; for whoso is preserved from the covetousness of his own soul, they shall prosper
Maududi
So hold Allah in awe as much as you can, and listen and obey, and be charitable. This is for your own good. And whoever remains safe from his own greediness, it is such that will prosper
