﴿وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ ثُمَّ صَوَّرۡنَٰكُمۡ ثُمَّ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُواْ لِأٓدَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ لَمۡ يَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 11]
﴿ولقد خلقناكم ثم صورناكم ثم قلنا للملائكة اسجدوا لآدم فسجدوا إلا إبليس﴾ [الأعرَاف: 11]
| Dr Kamal Omar And surely, We created you people, as also We gave you a definite appearance, then We told the angels: "Prostrate (to Me) for Adam." So they prostrated except Iblis. He did not become out of those who were submitters |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And, certainly, We created you. Again, We formed you. Again, We said to the angels: Prostrate yourselves before Adam! Then, they prostrated themselves, but Iblis. He would not be of the ones who prostrate themselves |
