﴿يُبَصَّرُونَهُمۡۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُ لَوۡ يَفۡتَدِي مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِئِذِۭ بِبَنِيهِ ﴾
[المَعَارج: 11]
﴿يبصرونهم يود المجرم لو يفتدي من عذاب يومئذ ببنيه﴾ [المَعَارج: 11]
Dr Kamal Omar People would be made to watch one another. The sinner would desire that he may pay a ransom to get rid of the torment that Day by (offering) his sons (in ransom) |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar although they are given sight of them. One who sins would wish that he offer for ransom —from the punishment of that day—his children |
Dr Munir Munshey Although, they would see each other! The criminal, that day, would like to escape punishment by offering his own son as ransom |
