﴿فَأَمَّا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكۡرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَكۡرَمَنِ ﴾
[الفَجر: 15]
﴿فأما الإنسان إذا ما ابتلاه ربه فأكرمه ونعمه فيقول ربي أكرمن﴾ [الفَجر: 15]
| Dr Kamal Omar As for the human being: when his Nourisher-Sustainer put him to trial and tribulation, and He bestowed upon him honour and bestowed upon him luxuries — then he will say: 'My Rabb has given me honour |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Then, as for the human being, when his Lord tested him and honored him and lauded him, he says: My Lord honored me |
| Dr Munir Munshey Such is man! When his Lord puts him through a test by granting him honor and a life of ease, he says, "My Lord has honored me |
