﴿أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ قُلۡ إِنِ ٱفۡتَرَيۡتُهُۥ فَعَلَيَّ إِجۡرَامِي وَأَنَا۠ بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تُجۡرِمُونَ ﴾
[هُود: 35]
﴿أم يقولون افتراه قل إن افتريته فعلي إجرامي وأنا بريء مما تجرمون﴾ [هُود: 35]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Or do they say: He has forged it? Say: If I have forged it, on me is my guilt, and I am clear of that of which you are guilty |
| Mohammad Shafi They do say, "He has concocted it." Say, "If I have concocted it, then it is my sin and I shall be punished for it. But the responsibility for the sin you commit shall not be on me."h |
