﴿لَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتۡ أَبۡصَٰرُنَا بَلۡ نَحۡنُ قَوۡمٞ مَّسۡحُورُونَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 15]
﴿لقالوا إنما سكرت أبصارنا بل نحن قوم مسحورون﴾ [الحِجر: 15]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir They would certainly say: Only our eyes have been covered over, rather we are an enchanted people |
| Mohammad Shafi They would still only say, "Our sights.are dazed. Nay, we are a people bewitched |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall They would say: Our sight is wrong - nay, but we are folk bewitched |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani still they will say, “In fact our eyes have been deluded; rather we are enchanted people |
