﴿مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓاْ إِذٗا مُّنظَرِينَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 8]
﴿ما ننـزل الملائكة إلا بالحق وما كانوا إذا منظرين﴾ [الحِجر: 8]
Mohammad Habib Shakir We do not send the angels but with truth, and then they would not be respited |
Mohammad Shafi We do not send the angels but only when necessary (to destroy wicked persons, for instance), and then they would not be given any respite |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall We send not down the angels save with the Fact, and in that case (the disbelievers) would not be tolerated |
