Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Anbiya’ ayat 59 - الأنبيَاء - Page - Juz 17
﴿قَالُواْ مَن فَعَلَ هَٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَآ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 59]
﴿قالوا من فعل هذا بآلهتنا إنه لمن الظالمين﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 59]
Mohammad Habib Shakir They said: Who has done this to our gods? Most surely he is one of the unjust |
Mohammad Shafi They asked, "Who has done this to our gods? The one who did this is certainly one of those most wicked |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall They said: Who hath done this to our gods? Surely it must be some evil-doer |
Mufti Taqi Usmani They said, “Who has done this to our gods? He is one of the wrongdoers indeed.” |
Muhammad Asad [When they saw what had happened,] they said: “Who has done this to our gods? Verily, one of the worst wrongdoers is he!” |
Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali They said, "Who has perfomed this with our gods? Surely he is indeed of the unjust |
Muhammad Sarwar (When the people came to the temple and saw the broken idols) they asked each other, "Who has done this to our gods? He certainly is an unjust person |
Muhammad Taqi Usmani They said, .Who has done this to our gods? He is one of the wrongdoers indeed |
Mustafa Khattab Allah Edition They protested, “Who dared do this to our gods? It must be an evildoer!” |

N J Dawood Who has done this to our deities?‘ said some. ‘He must surely be a wrongdoer.‘ |
Safi Kaskas They said, "Who has done this to our gods? He is unjust |
