Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Mu’minun ayat 61 - المؤمنُون - Page - Juz 18
﴿أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِي ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ وَهُمۡ لَهَا سَٰبِقُونَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 61]
﴿أولئك يسارعون في الخيرات وهم لها سابقون﴾ [المؤمنُون: 61]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir These hasten to good things and they are foremost in (attaining) them |
| Mohammad Shafi Those are the ones that hasten to do good things and they are in the forefront in doing them |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall These race for the good things, and they shall win them in the race |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani those people are accelerating towards the (real) good things, and they are the foremost to attain them |
| Muhammad Asad it is they who vie with one another in doing good works, and it is they who outrun [all others] in attaining to them |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Those (come) swiftly with charitable (deeds), and they are outstrippers to them |
| Muhammad Sarwar to God, these are the ones who really compete with each other in virtuous deeds and are the foremost ones in the task |
| Muhammad Taqi Usmani – those people are accelerating towards the (real) good things, and they are the foremost to attain them |
| Mustafa Khattab Allah Edition it is they who race to do good deeds, always taking the lead |
| Mustafa Khattab God Edition it is they who race to do good deeds, always taking the lead |
| N J Dawood these vie with each other for salvation and shall be the first to attain it |
| Safi Kaskas these are the ones who vie to do good deeds, and they will be the first to attain them |
