Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Furqan ayat 42 - الفُرقَان - Page - Juz 19
﴿إِن كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنۡ ءَالِهَتِنَا لَوۡلَآ أَن صَبَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهَاۚ وَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوۡنَ ٱلۡعَذَابَ مَنۡ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا ﴾
[الفُرقَان: 42]
﴿إن كاد ليضلنا عن آلهتنا لولا أن صبرنا عليها وسوف يعلمون حين﴾ [الفُرقَان: 42]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “Indeed he would have nearly misled us from our gods, had we not been so devoted to them.” Soon they will know when they see the penalty who it is that is most misled |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad He almost led us away from our gods, if we had not persevered on them. They will know who is more off the (right) way when they see the punishment |
| Ali Quli Qarai Indeed he was about to lead us astray from our gods, had we not stood firm by them.’ Soon they will know, when they sight the punishment, who is further astray from the [right] way |
| Ali Unal Indeed, he would almost have led us astray from our deities, had we not persevered in our attachment to them." But in time when they see the (promised) punishment, they will come to know who it was that strayed too far from the right way |
