Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Qasas ayat 20 - القَصَص - Page - Juz 20
﴿وَجَآءَ رَجُلٞ مِّنۡ أَقۡصَا ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ يَسۡعَىٰ قَالَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّ ٱلۡمَلَأَ يَأۡتَمِرُونَ بِكَ لِيَقۡتُلُوكَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ إِنِّي لَكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّٰصِحِينَ ﴾
[القَصَص: 20]
﴿وجاء رجل من أقصى المدينة يسعى قال ياموسى إن الملأ يأتمرون بك﴾ [القَصَص: 20]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And a man came running from the remotest part of the city. He said: O Musa! surely the chiefs are consulting together to slay you, therefore depart (at once); surely I am of those who wish well to you |
| Mohammad Shafi And a man came running from the city suburbs. He said, "O Moses! The chiefs are conferring against you to kill you. So, get away! I am indeed a well-wisher to you |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And a man came from the uttermost part of the city, running. He said: O Moses! Lo! the chiefs take counsel against thee to slay thee; therefor escape. Lo! I am of those who give thee good advice |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani And there came a man running from the farthest part of the city. He said, “The chiefs are counseling each other about you, so that they kill you. So, leave (the city). I am one of your well-wishers.” |
