Quran with British translation - Surah Az-Zumar ayat 39 - الزُّمَر - Page - Juz 24
﴿قُلۡ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡمَلُواْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمۡ إِنِّي عَٰمِلٞۖ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴾ 
[الزُّمَر: 39]
﴿قل ياقوم اعملوا على مكانتكم إني عامل فسوف تعلمون﴾ [الزُّمَر: 39]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Say: O my people! work in your place, surely I am a worker, so you will come to know | 
| Mohammad Shafi Tell them, "O my people! Do what you do, as hard as you may, I too will do what I should. You shall soon know | 
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Say: O my people! Act in your manner. Lo! I (too) am acting. Thus ye will come to know | 
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Say, “O my people, do at your place (what you are doing). I am to do (what I have been ordered to). Very soon, you will come to know | 
| Muhammad Asad Say: “O my [truth-denying] people! Do yet all that may be within your power, [whereas] I, behold, shall labour [in God’s way]: in time you will come to know | 
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Say, (This is addressed to the Ptophet) "O my people, behave (Literally: do) according to your situation; surely I am behaving (according to my situation); then eventually you will know | 
| Muhammad Sarwar Say, "My people, act as you wish. I shall do as I like and you will soon know | 
| Muhammad Taqi Usmani Say, .O my people, do at your place (what you are doing). I am to do (what I have been ordered to). Very soon, you will come to know |
