Quran with British translation - Surah Ghafir ayat 39 - غَافِر - Page - Juz 24
﴿يَٰقَوۡمِ إِنَّمَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا مَتَٰعٞ وَإِنَّ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ هِيَ دَارُ ٱلۡقَرَارِ ﴾
[غَافِر: 39]
﴿ياقوم إنما هذه الحياة الدنيا متاع وإن الآخرة هي دار القرار﴾ [غَافِر: 39]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir O my people! this life of the world is only a (passing) enjoyment, and surely the hereafter is the abode to settle |
| Mohammad Shafi O my people! Life of this world is but a temporary provision, and the Hereafter — that is the permanent home |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall O my people! Lo! this life of the world is but a passing comfort, and lo! the Hereafter, that is the enduring home |
