Quran with British translation - Surah Ash-Shura ayat 33 - الشُّوري - Page - Juz 25
﴿إِن يَشَأۡ يُسۡكِنِ ٱلرِّيحَ فَيَظۡلَلۡنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٖ شَكُورٍ ﴾
[الشُّوري: 33]
﴿إن يشأ يسكن الريح فيظللن رواكد على ظهره إن في ذلك لآيات﴾ [الشُّوري: 33]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir If He pleases, He causes the wind to become still so that they lie motionless on its back; most surely there are signs in this for every patient, grateful one |
| Mohammad Shafi If He so wills, He makes the wind still. And then they [ships] lie motionless on the sea's surface. In this indeed are signs for all who are patient and grateful |
