﴿ٱصۡلَوۡهَا فَٱصۡبِرُوٓاْ أَوۡ لَا تَصۡبِرُواْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ إِنَّمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴾
[الطُّور: 16]
﴿اصلوها فاصبروا أو لا تصبروا سواء عليكم إنما تجزون ما كنتم تعملون﴾ [الطُّور: 16]
Mohammad Habib Shakir Enter into it, then bear (it) patiently, or do not bear (it) patiently, it is the same to you; you shall be requited only (for) what you did |
Mohammad Shafi Suffer it! Whether you bear it with patience or not, it will be all the same for you: you are but being paid back for what you were doing |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Endure the heat thereof, and whether ye are patient of it or impatient of it is all one for you. Ye are only being paid for what ye used to do |
Mufti Taqi Usmani Enter it. Now, whether you endure (it) patiently or impatiently, it is all the same for you; you are merely rewarded for what you used to do.” |
Muhammad Asad Endure it [now]! But [whether you] bear yourselves with patience or without patience, it will be the same to you: you are but being requited for what you were wont to do.” |
