﴿۞ كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ فَكَذَّبُواْ عَبۡدَنَا وَقَالُواْ مَجۡنُونٞ وَٱزۡدُجِرَ ﴾
[القَمَر: 9]
﴿كذبت قبلهم قوم نوح فكذبوا عبدنا وقالوا مجنون وازدجر﴾ [القَمَر: 9]
Mohammad Habib Shakir Before them the people of Nuh rejected, so they rejected Our servant and called (him) mad, and he was driven away |
Mohammad Shafi Before them, Noah's people had denied! They denied Our devotee and said he was a mad man! And thus rebuffed was he |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall The folk of Noah denied before them, yea, they denied Our slave and said: A madman; and he was repulsed |
