﴿وَمَا يُدۡرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ ﴾ 
[عَبَسَ: 3]
﴿وما يدريك لعله يزكى﴾ [عَبَسَ: 3]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And what would make you know that he would purify himself | 
| Mohammad Shafi And what do you know? He might reform [to become a righteous man] | 
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace) | 
| Mufti Taqi Usmani What could tell you (O prophet about the prospects of the blind man?) May be, (if you had attended him properly,) he would have attained purity |
