﴿وَلَوۡ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفۡسٖ ظَلَمَتۡ مَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لَٱفۡتَدَتۡ بِهِۦۗ وَأَسَرُّواْ ٱلنَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُاْ ٱلۡعَذَابَۖ وَقُضِيَ بَيۡنَهُم بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ ﴾
[يُونس: 54]
﴿ولو أن لكل نفس ظلمت ما في الأرض لافتدت به وأسروا الندامة﴾ [يُونس: 54]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Every soul that has sinned, if it could possess all that is on earth, could not give it in ransom. They would declare repentance when they see the penalty, but the judgment between them will be with justice, and no wrong will be done to them |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And if each person that did wrong, had all that is on the earth, he would have ransomed with it, and he would hide the regret when he sees the punishment. And it will be judged between them with justice and they will not be wronged |
| Ali Quli Qarai Were any soul that has done wrong to possess whatever there is on the earth, it would surely offer it for ransom. They will hide their remorse when they sight the punishment; and judgement will be made between them with justice and they will not be wronged |
| Ali Unal If every soul that has committed wrong (through unbelief and thereby wronged itself) possessed all that is on the earth, it would surely offer that as ransom (to be saved from the punishment); and when they see the punishment, they will even be unable to express their remorse. It is judged between them in equity, and they are not wronged |

| Literal And if to every self (that) caused injustice/oppression what is in the earth/Planet Earth, it would have ransomed/compensated with it, and they kept the regret/sorrow/remorse secret when they saw/understood the torture, and was passed judgment/ordered between them with the just/equitable, and they are not being caused injustice to/oppressed |
