Quran with English translation - Surah Yusuf ayat 96 - يُوسُف - Page - Juz 13
﴿فَلَمَّآ أَن جَآءَ ٱلۡبَشِيرُ أَلۡقَىٰهُ عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِهِۦ فَٱرۡتَدَّ بَصِيرٗاۖ قَالَ أَلَمۡ أَقُل لَّكُمۡ إِنِّيٓ أَعۡلَمُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 96]
﴿فلما أن جاء البشير ألقاه على وجهه فارتد بصيرا قال ألم أقل﴾ [يُوسُف: 96]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Then when the bearer of the good news came, he cast the shirt over his face, and he immediately regained clear sight. He said, “Did I not say to you, ‘I know from God that which you know not?’ ” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad So when the giver of good news came, he threw it over his face and his sight returned. He said: did I not say to you indeed I know from God what you do not know |
| Ali Quli Qarai When the bearer of good news arrived, he cast it on his face, and he regained his sight. He said, ‘Did I not tell you, ‘‘I know from Allah what you do not know?’’ ’ |
| Ali Unal But when the bearer of the good tidings came (with Joseph’s shirt), Jacob laid it over his face and he regained his sight. (Soon the caravan of the brothers reached home.) Jacob said: "Did I not tell you that I know from God what you do not know |

| Literal So when that the announcer of good news came, he threw it (the shirt) on his face/front , so he returned seeing/understanding , he said: "Did I not say to you that I know from God what you do not know |
| Mir Anees Original So when the conveyer of the good news came, he put (Yusuf’s shirt) on his face when (his power of) seeing returned. He said, “Did I not say to you that I know from Allah that which you do not know ?” |
