﴿أَفَمَنۡ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡۗ وَجَعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ قُلۡ سَمُّوهُمۡۚ أَمۡ تُنَبِّـُٔونَهُۥ بِمَا لَا يَعۡلَمُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَم بِظَٰهِرٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِۗ بَلۡ زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مَكۡرُهُمۡ وَصُدُّواْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِۗ وَمَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنۡ هَادٖ ﴾
[الرَّعد: 33]
﴿أفمن هو قائم على كل نفس بما كسبت وجعلوا لله شركاء قل﴾ [الرَّعد: 33]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Is then He who stands over every soul and knows all that it does like any others? And yet they ascribe partners to God. Say, “So name them. And is it that you will inform Him of something He does not know on earth, or is it just words?” No, to those who do not believe, the unbelievers’ pretense seems pleasing, but they are kept back from the path, and those whom God leaves to stray, no one can guide |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Does anyone (other than God) watch over what everyone does? And yet they made partners for God. Say: name them, or do you inform Him about something that He does not know on the earth, or is it (just) superficial word? No, but for those who disbelieved their plot is beautified and they are kept back from the (right) way. And there is no guide for anyone who God misguides |
| Ali Quli Qarai Is He who sustains every soul in spite of what it earns [comparable to the idols]? Yet they ascribe partners to Allah! Say, ‘Name them!’ Will you inform Him concerning something He does not know about on the earth, or concerning [what are] mere words? Indeed, to the faithless, their scheming is presented as decorous, and they have been barred from the [right] way; and whomever Allah leads astray, has no guide |
| Ali Unal Is He Who watches over every soul and whatever it earns (to be denied or disobeyed)? Yet they associate partners with God. Say: "Name them (if anything can be a deity merely by calling it so)! Do you (presume to) inform Him of something (existent) on earth that He does not know? Or are you just uttering mere words (with neither meaning nor reference to anything existent and real)? No, but their own fictions are decked out to be appealing to those who disbelieve, and they are kept away from the right way. Whoever God leads astray, for him there is no guide |

Would ye inform God of that which He knoweth not on the Earth? Or are they not a mere empty name? But prepared of old for the infidels was this fraud of theirs; and they are turned aside from the path; and whom God causeth to err, no guide shall there be for him |
| Literal Is whom, He is taking care of on every self with what it earned/gained , and they made/created to God partners, say: "Name/identify them, or you inform Him with what He does not know in the earth/Planet Earth, or with apparent/visible from the saying/opinion and belief . Rather their cheatery/deceit was decorated/beautified to those who disbelieved, and they prevented/obstructed from the way/path , and whom God misguides so (there is) none from (a) guide (is) for him |
| Mir Anees Original Then, is He, Who is established on every soul (so as to know) that which it earns, (like those who are powerless)? And they appoint partners for Allah. Say, “Name them. Or do you wish to inform Him about (something) which He does not know in the earth? Or (is your polytheism just an) expression of words (and nothing else)?” No! their plans are made to appear fair seeming to those who do not believe and they are turned away from the way, and whom Allah leaves in error, then for him there is no guide |
