﴿ٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡتَحِبُّونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا عَلَى ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبۡغُونَهَا عِوَجًاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ فِي ضَلَٰلِۭ بَعِيدٖ ﴾
[إبراهِيم: 3]
﴿الذين يستحبون الحياة الدنيا على الآخرة ويصدون عن سبيل الله ويبغونها عوجا﴾ [إبراهِيم: 3]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Those who love the life of the present more than the future, who hinder others from the path of God, and who seek therein something crooked. They are far astray |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Those who like this world's life over the hereafter and obstruct God's way and look for its distortion, they are lost far (from the right path) |
| Ali Quli Qarai —those who prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter, and bar [others] from the way of Allah, and seek to make it crooked. They are in extreme error |
| Ali Unal They choose the present, worldly life in preference to the Hereafter and bar (people) from God’s way, and seek to make it appear crooked – those have indeed gone far astray |
| Hamid S Aziz Those who love the life of this world better than the Hereafter, and turn folks from the path of Allah, and crave to make it crooked; these are far astray |
| John Medows Rodwell Who love the life that now is, above that which is to come, and mislead from the way of God, and seek to make it crooked. These are in a far-gone error |
| Literal Those who love/like (prefer) the life the present/worldly life over the end (other life), and they obstruct/prevent from God`s way/path and they desire it (be) bent/crookedness , those are in distant/far misguidance |
| Mir Anees Original Those who love the life of this world more than the hereafter and turn away (people) from Allah’s way and seek crookedness in it, they are far astray |
