Quran with English translation - Surah Al-hijr ayat 47 - الحِجر - Page - Juz 14
﴿وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنۡ غِلٍّ إِخۡوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 47]
﴿ونـزعنا ما في صدورهم من غل إخوانا على سرر متقابلين﴾ [الحِجر: 47]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And We will remove from their chests any hatred. They will be a community facing each other on thrones |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We remove any resentment from their minds, brothers (sitting) on sofas facing each other |
| Ali Quli Qarai We will remove whatever rancour there is in their breasts; [intimate like] brothers, [they will be reclining] on couches, facing one another |
| Ali Unal We strip away whatever there is in their bosoms of rancor and jealousy (which they may have felt against each other while in the world). As brothers face to face, (they take their ease) on couches raised |
| Hamid S Aziz And We will strip off whatever ill-feeling is in their breasts; as brethren they rest on couches face to face |
| John Medows Rodwell And all rancour will We remove from their bosoms: they shall sit as brethren, face to face, on couches |
| Literal And We removed/pulled away what (is) in their chests (innermosts) from hatred/animosity , brothers on beds/sofas facing each other |
| Mir Anees Original And We will remove whatever of ill feeling would be there in their hearts, (they will be like) brothers, (sitting) on couches, facing each other |
