Quran with English translation - Surah An-Nahl ayat 119 - النَّحل - Page - Juz 14
﴿ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ عَمِلُواْ ٱلسُّوٓءَ بِجَهَٰلَةٖ ثُمَّ تَابُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصۡلَحُوٓاْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهَا لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ ﴾
[النَّحل: 119]
﴿ثم إن ربك للذين عملوا السوء بجهالة ثم تابوا من بعد ذلك﴾ [النَّحل: 119]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But indeed your Lord is to those who do wrong in ignorance, but who thereafter repent and make amends, your Lord is after all this, Oft-Forgiving, Mercifully Redeeming |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad So indeed your Master (is forgiving) to those who did wrong out of ignorance and then repented and straightened out after that, indeed your Master is forgiving and merciful after that |
Ali Quli Qarai Moreover, your Lord will indeed be forgiving and merciful to those who repent after they having committed evil out of ignorance and reform themselves |
Ali Unal Then indeed your Lord is – to those who do evil in ignorance (as a result of failing to counter the prompting of the evil-commanding soul), and then repent (soon as they realize what they have done is wrong) and mend their ways and conduct – indeed your Lord is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate (with special mercy toward His penitent servants) |
