﴿وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ لَا تُفۡسِدُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا نَحۡنُ مُصۡلِحُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 11]
﴿وإذا قيل لهم لا تفسدوا في الأرض قالوا إنما نحن مصلحون﴾ [البَقَرَة: 11]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al When it is said to them, “Do no harm on the earth,” they say, “We only want to make things right.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad When they are told: do not commit corruption on the earth; they say: we are just reformers |
| Ali Quli Qarai When they are told, ‘Do not cause corruption on the earth,’ they say, ‘We are only reformers!’ |
| Ali Unal (Because of the disorder they intend to provoke with their lies), whenever they are told (as part of the duty enjoined upon the believers to promote good and forbid evil), "Do not cause disorder and corruption on earth," they say: "Why! We indeed are the ones who set things right |
