﴿ما اتخذ الله من ولد وما كان معه من إله إذا لذهب﴾ [المؤمنُون: 91]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al No son did God have, nor is there any god joined with Him. If there were many gods, behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded over others. Glory be to God. He is free from the sort of things they attribute to Him |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad God did not take a child and there is no god with Him, in that case every god would take away what it created, and some of them would be superior to others. God is flawless about what they describe |
Ali Quli Qarai Allah has not taken any offspring, neither is there any god besides Him, for then each god would take away what he created, and some of them would surely rise up against others. Clear is Allah of what they allege |
Ali Unal God has never taken to Himself a child, nor is there any deity along with Him; otherwise each deity would surely have sought absolute independence with his creatures under his authority, and they would surely have tried to overpower one another. All-Glorified is God, in that He is far above what they attribute to Him |
Hamid S Aziz Allah never took a son, nor was there ever any God with Him; else would each God have assuredly gone off with (or championed, controlled) that which he had created, and some would assuredly have exalted themselves over (or overcome) others. Glorified be A |
John Medows Rodwell God hath not begotten offspring; neither is there any other God with Him: else had each god assuredly taken away that which he had created, and some had assuredly uplifted themselves above others! Far from the glory of God, be what they affirm of Him |
Literal God did not take/receive from a child (son), and (there) was not from a god with Him, then each/every god would have gone with what he created, and some of them would have heightened/elevated over some, God`s praise/glory about what they describe/categorize |
Mir Anees Original Allah has not taken any son nor is there any (other) god with Him, (had there been two or more gods, then) in that case, each god would have taken away that which he had created and some would have dominated over others, glorified be Allah above that which they describe |
Mir Aneesuddin God has not taken any son nor is there any (other) god with Him, (had there been two or more gods, then) in that case, each god would have taken away that which he had created and some would have dominated over others, glorified be God above that which they describe |
