Quran with English translation - Surah Ar-Rum ayat 38 - الرُّوم - Page - Juz 21
﴿فَـَٔاتِ ذَا ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱلۡمِسۡكِينَ وَٱبۡنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجۡهَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ ﴾
[الرُّوم: 38]
﴿فآت ذا القربى حقه والمسكين وابن السبيل ذلك خير للذين يريدون وجه﴾ [الرُّوم: 38]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al So give what is due to family, the needy, and to displaced persons. That is best for those who seek the Countenance of God, and it is these who will flourish |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad So give the relatives (and close ones) and the needy and the traveler (in need) their due. That is better for those who want God’s attention (and His pleasure), and they are the successful ones |
Ali Quli Qarai Give the relative his due, and the needy and the traveller [as well]. That is better for those who seek Allah’s pleasure, and it is they who are the felicitous |
Ali Unal And so give their due to relatives, as well as to the destitute and the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek God’s "Face" (His approval and good pleasure); and those are they who are the prosperous |
Hamid S Aziz Then give to the near of kin his due, and to the needy and the wayfarer; this is best for those who desire Allah´s countenance (presence, pleasure), and these it is who are successful |
John Medows Rodwell To him who is of kin to thee give his due, and to the poor and to the wayfarer: this will be best for those who seek the face of God; and with them it shall be well |
Literal So give/bring the relatives/relations/near his right/share , and the poorest of poor/poor oppressed, and the traveler/stranded traveler, that (is) best to those who want God`s face/front/direction, and those are the successful/winners |
Mir Anees Original So give to the relative his due and (also) to the needy and the wayfarer. That is best for those who intend (to seek) the Attention of Allah, and those are the persons who are successful |
