Quran with English translation - Surah Az-Zumar ayat 20 - الزُّمَر - Page - Juz 23
﴿لَٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ رَبَّهُمۡ لَهُمۡ غُرَفٞ مِّن فَوۡقِهَا غُرَفٞ مَّبۡنِيَّةٞ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ لَا يُخۡلِفُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمِيعَادَ ﴾
[الزُّمَر: 20]
﴿لكن الذين اتقوا ربهم لهم غرف من فوقها غرف مبنية تجري من﴾ [الزُّمَر: 20]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But for those who are conscious of their Lord are lofty mansions, one above another, built high. Beneath them rivers flow. Such is the promise of God. Never does God fail in His promise |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad But those who are cautious of their Master have chambers built over chambers, rivers flowing beneath them. God’s promise and God does not break His promise |
Ali Quli Qarai But as for those who are wary of their Lord, for them there will be lofty abodes with [other] lofty abodes built above them, with streams running beneath them—a promise of Allah. Allah does not break His promise |
Ali Unal But those who keep from disobedience to God in reverence for Him and piety, for them are lofty mansions built one above another, beneath which rivers flow. (This is) God’s promise. God never fails to fulfill His promise |
Hamid S Aziz But those who are careful of (their duty to) their Lord, they shall have high places, above them are built higher places, beneath which rivers flow - (this is) the promise of Allah: Allah will not fail in (His) promise |
John Medows Rodwell But for those who fear their Lord are storied pavilions beneath which shall the rivers flow: it is the promise of God, and God will not fail in his promise |
Literal But those who feared and obeyed their Lord, for them (are) chambers from above it chambers built/constructed, the rivers/waterways flow from beneath it, God`s promise, God does not break the appointment (promise) |
Mir Anees Original But those who fear their Fosterer, for them are built high palaces above which are (still) higher palaces (multistoried buildings), beneath which rivers flow, a promise of Allah, Allah does not go against His promise |
