Quran with English translation - Surah Ghafir ayat 29 - غَافِر - Page - Juz 24
﴿يَٰقَوۡمِ لَكُمُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ ظَٰهِرِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَمَن يَنصُرُنَا مِنۢ بَأۡسِ ٱللَّهِ إِن جَآءَنَاۚ قَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ مَآ أُرِيكُمۡ إِلَّا مَآ أَرَىٰ وَمَآ أَهۡدِيكُمۡ إِلَّا سَبِيلَ ٱلرَّشَادِ ﴾
[غَافِر: 29]
﴿ياقوم لكم الملك اليوم ظاهرين في الأرض فمن ينصرنا من بأس الله﴾ [غَافِر: 29]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “O my people, yours is the control this day. You have the upper hand in the land, but who will help us from the punishment of God, should it befall us?” Pharaoh said, “I only point out to you that which I see, nor do I guide you, except to the path of right.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad My people, today the rule is yours, prominent on the land, but who helps us against God's punishment if it comes to us? Pharaoh said: I only point out to you what I observe and I only guide you to the right way |
| Ali Quli Qarai O my people! Today sovereignty belongs to you, and you are dominant in the land. But who will save us from Allah’s punishment should it overtake us?’ Pharaoh said, ‘I just point out to you what I see [to be advisable for you], and I guide you only to the way of rectitude.’ |
| Ali Unal O my people! You enjoy the dominion today, being uppermost in the land; but who could help us against the punishment of God, should it come to us?" The Pharaoh said (to his people): "I would show you only what I see (as needing to be done), and I guide you only to the right way (to follow) |

| John Medows Rodwell O my people! this day is the kingdom yours, the eminent of the earth! but who shall defend us from the vengeance of God if it come on us?" Pharaoh said, "I would have you see only what I see; and in a right way only will I guide you |
| Literal You my nation, for you (is) the kingdom/ownership the day/today, conquering/defeating in the earth/Planet Earth, so who gives us victory/aid from God`s courage/might/power, if (it) came to us? Pharaoh said: "I do not show you/make you understand except what I see/understand, and I do not guide you except the corrects/right guidance`s way/path |
| Mir Anees Original O my people! Yours is the government this day and you are uppermost in the earth, but who will help us against the punishment of Allah if it comes to us?” Firawn said, “I do not show you anything except that which I see ( good for you ) and I do not lead you but to the right way.” |
