Quran with English translation - Surah At-Taubah ayat 113 - التوبَة - Page - Juz 11
﴿مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَن يَسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ لِلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ وَلَوۡ كَانُوٓاْ أُوْلِي قُرۡبَىٰ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمۡ أَنَّهُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ ﴾
[التوبَة: 113]
﴿ما كان للنبي والذين آمنوا أن يستغفروا للمشركين ولو كانوا أولي قربى﴾ [التوبَة: 113]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al It is not fitting for the Prophet and those who believe, that they should pray for forgiveness for pagans, even if they are family, after it is clear to them that they are companions of the fire |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad It is not for the prophet and those who believed to ask for forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they are their relatives (or close ones), after it is clear to them that they are inhabitants of the hellfire |
| Ali Quli Qarai The Prophet and the faithful may not plead for the forgiveness of the polytheists, even if they should be [their] relatives, after it has become clear to them that they will be the inmates of hell |
| Ali Unal It is not for the Prophet and those who believe to ask God for the forgiveness of those who associate partners with God even though they be near of kin, after it has become clear to them that they (died polytheists and therefore) are condemned to the Blazing Flame |
| Hamid S Aziz It is not for the prophet and those who believe to ask forgiveness for the idolaters, even though they are their kindred, after it has been made manifest to them that they are the fellows of hell |

| Literal (It) was not to the prophet and those who believed that they ask for forgiveness to the sharers/takers of partners (with God) , and even if they were of (the) relations/near from after what was clarified/explained to them, that they are the roaring fires`/Hell`s owners/friends |
