﴿قَالُواْ تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدۡ ءَاثَرَكَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡنَا وَإِن كُنَّا لَخَٰطِـِٔينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 91]
﴿قالوا تالله لقد آثرك الله علينا وإن كنا لخاطئين﴾ [يُوسُف: 91]
| Shabbir Ahmed They said, "By God! Certainly Allah has raised you above us, and we were indeed at fault |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed They said: "By Allah! Truly, Allah has chosen you over us, and we certainly have been guilty of sin |
| Talal A Itani New Translation They said, 'By God, God has preferred you over us. We were definitely in the wrong |
