﴿وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلۡنَا مِنكُم مَّلَٰٓئِكَةٗ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَخۡلُفُونَ ﴾
[الزُّخرُف: 60]
﴿ولو نشاء لجعلنا منكم ملائكة في الأرض يخلفون﴾ [الزُّخرُف: 60]
| Abdel Haleem if it had been Our will, We could have made you angels, succeeding one another on earth |
| Abdul Hye And if it were Our Will, We would have (destroyed mankind and) made angels to replace you on the earth |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali And if it were Our Will, We could make angels from amongst you, succeeding each other on the earth |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And had We willed We could have appointed angels born of you in the earth to succeed each other |
| Ahmed Ali If We pleased We could have put angels in place of you as trustees on the earth |
| Aisha Bewley If We wished We could appoint angels in exchange for you to succeed you on the earth |
