﴿لَّن تُغۡنِيَ عَنۡهُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـًٔاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ﴾
[المُجَادلة: 17]
﴿لن تغني عنهم أموالهم ولا أولادهم من الله شيئا أولئك أصحاب النار﴾ [المُجَادلة: 17]
| Abdel Haleem neither their wealth nor their children will be of any use to them against God- they will be the inhabitants of Hell, where they will remain |
| Abdul Hye Neither their children nor their wealth will avail them anything against Allah. They will be the inmates of the fire; they will reside in it forever |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Of no profit whatever to them, against Allah, will be their riches nor their sons: they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for aye) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi There will not avail them against Allah their riches or their children at all. Th are the fellows of the Fire; therein they will be abiders |
| Ahmed Ali Neither their wealth nor children will avail them against God. They are the people of Hell, and there will abide for ever |
| Aisha Bewley Neither their wealth nor their children will help them at all against Allah. Such people are the Companions of the Fire, remaining in it timelessly, for ever |
| A. J. Arberry Neither their riches nor their children shall avail them anything against God; those -- they are the inhabitants of the Fire, therein dwelling forever |
| Ali Quli Qarai Their possessions and children will not avail them in any way against Allah. They shall be the inmates of the Fire and they shall remain in it [forever] |
