Dr Kamal Omar And if there had been with every Nafs that has transgressed, whatever is on the earth, she would have offered it as a ransom (to be redeemed of her transgression). And they kept hidden the regret when they saw the punishment; and the matter got decided amongst them in full justice. And they will not be wronged (on the Day of Resurrection and Accountability) |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And if there would be for every person who did wrong whatever is in or on the earth, he would, certainly, offer it for his ransom. Edward Henry Palmer And if every soul that hath done wrong had whatever is in the earth, it would give it as a ransom. They will utter their repentance when they see the torment; and it shall be decided between them with justice, nor shall they be wronged |
Farook Malik If every person that has done injustice possessed all that the earth contains, he would be willing to offer it all in ransom to redeem himself if he could.
