Goodness", they said, "indeed Allah has taken you by preference out of

﴿قَالُواْ تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدۡ ءَاثَرَكَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡنَا وَإِن كُنَّا لَخَٰطِـِٔينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 91]

Goodness", they said, "indeed Allah has taken you by preference out of all of us and exalted you in status, rank and fortune and characterized you by impressive disposition." "We do acknowledge our sinful deed and confess ourselves to Allah with full purpose of amendment of life

﴿قالوا تالله لقد آثرك الله علينا وإن كنا لخاطئين﴾ [يُوسُف: 91]
