﴿وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنۡ غِلٍّ إِخۡوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 47]
﴿ونـزعنا ما في صدورهم من غل إخوانا على سرر متقابلين﴾ [الحِجر: 47]
| Dr Kamal Omar And we removed what was inside their hearts in the form of aversion or disinclination, (mahead of state them like) brothers facing each other on thrones |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And We will tear out any grudges from their breasts. They will be as brothers/sisters on couches, one facing the other |
| Dr Munir Munshey We will rid their hearts of the residual rancor and resentment. Seated on couches and facing each other, they will live there like brothers |
| Edward Henry Palmer And we will strip off whatever ill-feeling is in their breasts; as brethren on couches face to face |
| Farook Malik We shall remove all hatred from their hearts -they will become like brothers and sit on couches face to face |
| George Sale And we will remove all grudges from their breasts; they shall be as brethren, sitting over against one another on couches |
| Maududi And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers |
