﴿كـَلَّاۚ سَنَكۡتُبُ مَا يَقُولُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ مَدّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 79]
﴿كلا سنكتب ما يقول ونمد له من العذاب مدا﴾ [مَريَم: 79]
| Dr Kamal Omar Nay! Soon We shall record what he says, and We shall expand for him from the punishment far and wide |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar No indeed! We will write down what he says. We will cause the punishment to increase for him, prolonging it |
| Dr Munir Munshey Indeed not! Rather, We are recording everything he says. We shall extend his punishment a great deal further |
| Edward Henry Palmer Not so! We will write down what he says, and we will extend to him a length of torment |
| Farook Malik By no means! We write down what he says and We will make his punishment long and terrible |
| George Sale By no means. We will surely write down that which he saith; and increasing We will increase his punishment |
