﴿قَالُواْ مَن فَعَلَ هَٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَآ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 59]
﴿قالوا من فعل هذا بآلهتنا إنه لمن الظالمين﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 59]
| Dr Kamal Omar They said: “Who has done this with our aaliha (gods)? Certainly he must be out of the wrong-doers.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They said: Who accomplished this with our gods? Truly, he is of the ones who are unjust |
| Dr Munir Munshey They said, "Who did this to our gods? He is really very cruel |
| Edward Henry Palmer Said they, 'Who has done this with our gods? verily, he is of the wrong-doers |
| Farook Malik (On their return when they saw the plight of their idols), some asked, "Who has done this to our gods? He must surely be a wicked person |
| George Sale and saw the havock which had been made, they said, who hath done this to our gods? He is certainly an impious person |
| Maududi (When they saw the idols in this state) they said: "Who has done this to our gods? Surely he is one of the wrong-doers |
