﴿قَالُواْ فَأۡتُواْ بِهِۦ عَلَىٰٓ أَعۡيُنِ ٱلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَشۡهَدُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 61]
﴿قالوا فأتوا به على أعين الناس لعلهم يشهدون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 61]
| Dr Kamal Omar People said: “So come with him (i.e., bring him) before the eyes of the people, so that they may testify.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They said: Then, approach with him before the eyes of personages so that perhaps they will bear witness |
| Dr Munir Munshey They said, "Bring him out to face the people. So they may observe (his fate) |
| Edward Henry Palmer Said they, 'Then bring him before the eyes of men; haply they will bear witness |
| Farook Malik They said, "Then bring him here before the eyes of the people, so that they may witness how severely he is punished |
| George Sale They said, bring him therefore before the eyes of the people, that they may bear witness against him |
