﴿إِن كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنۡ ءَالِهَتِنَا لَوۡلَآ أَن صَبَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهَاۚ وَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوۡنَ ٱلۡعَذَابَ مَنۡ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا ﴾
[الفُرقَان: 42]
﴿إن كاد ليضلنا عن آلهتنا لولا أن صبرنا عليها وسوف يعلمون حين﴾ [الفُرقَان: 42]
| Dr Kamal Omar If he could, surely he will deviate us from our aaliha (gods), if not (it is) that we remained constant in (worshipping) them." And soon they will know when they see the torment, who is more astray from the (Right) Path |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar He was about to cause us to go astray from our gods, if it were not that we endured patiently in them! And they will know at the time when they see the punishment, who is one who goes astray from the way |
| Dr Munir Munshey He had almost wooed us away from our gods. But we stayed staunch upon them." As soon as they confront their punishment they will find out who had strayed farther away from the path |
