﴿وَمَا كَانَ قَوۡلَهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسۡرَافَنَا فِيٓ أَمۡرِنَا وَثَبِّتۡ أَقۡدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 147]

All they said was no other than their prayer of invocation: "O Allah, our Creator, forgive us our iniquities and the excesses into which we might have been driven and help us take a firm position and set our feet firm, and make victory and fortune sit on our helm so that we reduce those who deny you to ruin
