﴿لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ وَيُقۡذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٖ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 8]
﴿لا يسمعون إلى الملإ الأعلى ويقذفون من كل جانب﴾ [الصَّافَات: 8]
| Dr Kamal Omar They are unable to hear to the higher elite and they are pelted from every side — |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They pay no attention to the lofty Council for they are hurled at from every edge |
| Dr Munir Munshey These Shaitans are chased out of everywhere as they attempt to eavesdrop on the conversation of the exalted angels (to learn about the events to come) |
| Edward Henry Palmer that they may not listen to the exalted chiefs; for they are hurled at from every side |
| Farook Malik They cannot even hear the words of the exalted assembly of angels and they are darted at from every side |
