Quran with Tafsir_English translation - Surah Fussilat ayat 43 - فُصِّلَت - Page - Juz 24
﴿مَّا يُقَالُ لَكَ إِلَّا مَا قَدۡ قِيلَ لِلرُّسُلِ مِن قَبۡلِكَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغۡفِرَةٖ وَذُو عِقَابٍ أَلِيمٖ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 43]
﴿ما يقال لك إلا ما قد قيل للرسل من قبلك إن ربك﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 43]
Dr Kamal Omar A thing is not said to you except what has indeed been said to the Messengers before you. Verily, your Nourisher-Sustainer is indeed Possessor of Forgiveness, and (also) Possessor of a painful retribution |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Nothing is said to thee but what, truly, was said to the Messengers before thee. Truly, thy Lord is, certainly, the Possessor of Forgiveness, and the Possessor of Painful Repayment |
Dr Munir Munshey (Oh Muhammad, SAW)! Nothing has been said to you that had not been said to the messengers before you. Indeed, your Lord is (not only) the Lord of forgiveness, (but also) the Lord of the painful punishment |
Edward Henry Palmer Naught is said to thee but what was said to the apostles before thee, 'Verily, thy Lord is Lord of forgiveness and Lord of grievous torment |
Farook Malik Nothing is said to you (O Muhammad) that was not said to the Messengers before you: that surely your Lord is the Lord of forgiveness, and at the same time the Lord of painful retribution |
George Sale No other is said unto thee by the infidels of Mecca, than what hath been formerly said, unto the apostles before thee: Verily thy Lord is inclined to forgiveness, and is also able to chastise severely |
Maududi (O Prophet), nothing is said to you but what was already said to the Messengers before you. Surely your Lord is the Lord of forgiveness and the Lord of grievous chastisement |
