﴿إِن يَشَأۡ يُسۡكِنِ ٱلرِّيحَ فَيَظۡلَلۡنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٖ شَكُورٍ ﴾
[الشُّوري: 33]
﴿إن يشأ يسكن الريح فيظللن رواكد على ظهره إن في ذلك لآيات﴾ [الشُّوري: 33]
| Dr Kamal Omar If He thinks proper He causes the wind to cease (its motion), then the ships become those who are without motion on its surface. Surely, in this are indeed signs for all the patient and grateful individuals |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar If He wills, He stills the wind. Then, they would stay, that which is motionless on the surface. Truly, in that are signs for every enduring and grateful one |
| Dr Munir Munshey If He wants, He can cause the winds to cease. The ships would then lie motionless on the surface of the sea. In fact, there are signs in that for every steadfast and grateful person |
