﴿لَّن تُغۡنِيَ عَنۡهُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـًٔاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ﴾
[المُجَادلة: 17]
﴿لن تغني عنهم أموالهم ولا أولادهم من الله شيئا أولئك أصحاب النار﴾ [المُجَادلة: 17]
| Dr Kamal Omar Will never provide them benefit their wealth, and nor their children against Allah to any extent. They (will be) dwellers of the Fire. They will be abiders therein |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Avails them not their wealth and their children against God at all. Those will be the Companions of the Fire. They are ones who will dwell in it forever |
| Dr Munir Munshey Their wealth and their children will not help them a bit against Allah! They are the people of the fire, and in it they shall stay forever |
| Edward Henry Palmer Their wealth shall not avail them, nor their children at all, against God; they are the fellows of the Fire, and they shall dwell therein for aye |
| Farook Malik Neither their riches nor their sons shall avail them anything against Allah. They shall be the inmates of hell and live there forever |
| George Sale neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them at all against God. These shall be the inhabitants of hell fire; they shall abide therein for ever |
| Maududi Neither their possessions nor their offspring will be of any avail to them against Allah. They are the people of the Fire; therein they shall abide |
