﴿قَالَ فَبِمَآ أَغۡوَيۡتَنِي لَأَقۡعُدَنَّ لَهُمۡ صِرَٰطَكَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 16]
﴿قال فبما أغويتني لأقعدن لهم صراطك المستقيم﴾ [الأعرَاف: 16]
| Dr Kamal Omar (Iblis) said: “Since You have declared me astray, surely I will block for them Your Permanent Path |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Satan said: Because Thou hadst led me into error, certainly, I will sit in ambush for them on Thy path, one that is straight |
| Dr Munir Munshey (Shaitan) said, "(Lord), since You lured and led me astray, I would now lurk in ambush for them on Your straight path, (to drive them astray) |
| Edward Henry Palmer said he, 'For that Thou hast led me into error, I will lie in wait for them in Thy straight path |
| Farook Malik Satan declared: "Since You let me deviate, now I will lie in ambush for mankind on Your Right Way |
| George Sale The devil said, because thou hast depraved me, I will lay wait for men in thy strait way |
| Maududi Satan said: ´Since You have led me astray, I shall surely sit in ambush for them on Your Straight Path |
