﴿وَيَٰٓـَٔادَمُ ٱسۡكُنۡ أَنتَ وَزَوۡجُكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ فَكُلَا مِنۡ حَيۡثُ شِئۡتُمَا وَلَا تَقۡرَبَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 19]
﴿وياآدم اسكن أنت وزوجك الجنة فكلا من حيث شئتما ولا تقربا هذه﴾ [الأعرَاف: 19]
| Dr Kamal Omar And O Adam! Dwell you and your consort in the orchard, so both of you eat from where you two desired and both of you must not approach this particular tree, otherwise you both become out of the transgressors.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And: O Adam! Inhabit thou and thy spouse the Garden and both eat from where you both willed, but neither of you come near this tree or you both will be of the ones who are unjust |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh Adam! You and your wife may live in paradise and eat anything here that you like. But do not come close to this one tree, or else the two of you would become the wrongdoers |
| Edward Henry Palmer But, O Adam, dwell thou and thy wife in Paradise and eat from whence ye will, but draw not nigh unto this tree or ye will be of the unjust |
| Farook Malik Allah said: "O Adam! Dwell with your wife in paradise and eat any fruit you please; but never approach this tree or you shall both become wrongdoers |
| George Sale But as for thee, O Adam, dwell thou and thy wife in paradise; and eat of the fruit thereof where-ever ye will; but approach not this tree, lest ye become of the number of the unjust |
| Maududi Adam! Live you and your spouse in the Garden and both of you eat from it wherever you will, but never approach the tree or you shall become wrongdoers.´ |
