﴿وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ لَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعۡتُمۡ شُعَيۡبًا إِنَّكُمۡ إِذٗا لَّخَٰسِرُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 90]
﴿وقال الملأ الذين كفروا من قومه لئن اتبعتم شعيبا إنكم إذا لخاسرون﴾ [الأعرَاف: 90]
| Dr Kamal Omar And the chiefs of those who disbelieved among his nation said: “If you followed Shu’aib, be sure, you then become the losers.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar But said the Council of those who were ungrateful among his folk: If you followed Shuayb, then, truly, you will be ones who are losers |
| Dr Munir Munshey The unbelieving leaders of his nation said, "If you follow Shoaib, you would certainly be the losers |
| Edward Henry Palmer And the chiefs of those who disbelieved amongst his people said, 'If ye follow Shohaib, verily, ye shall be the losers |
| Farook Malik The leaders who disbelieved from among his nation said: "If you follow Shu`aib, you shall indeed be losers |
| George Sale And the chief men of his people, who disbelieved, said, 'If you follow Shu'aib, you shall then certainly be of the losers |
| Maududi The elders of his people who disbelieved said: ´Should you follow Shu´ayb, you will be utter losers |
