﴿قَالَ ٱجۡعَلۡنِي عَلَىٰ خَزَآئِنِ ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ إِنِّي حَفِيظٌ عَلِيمٞ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 55]
﴿قال اجعلني على خزائن الأرض إني حفيظ عليم﴾ [يُوسُف: 55]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir He said: Place me (in authority) over the treasures of the land, surely I am a good keeper, knowing well |
| Mohammad Shafi Joseph said, "Place me in authority over the treasures of the land. I know how to keep them well preserved |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall He said: Set me over the storehouses of the land. Lo! I am a skilled custodian |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani He said, “Appoint me to (supervise) the treasures of the land. I am indeed a knowledgeable keeper.” |
| Muhammad Asad [Joseph] replied: "Place in my charge the store-houses of the land; behold, I shall be a good and knowing keeper |
