﴿قَالُواْ سَنُرَٰوِدُ عَنۡهُ أَبَاهُ وَإِنَّا لَفَٰعِلُونَ ﴾ 
[يُوسُف: 61]
﴿قالوا سنراود عنه أباه وإنا لفاعلون﴾ [يُوسُف: 61]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir They said: We will strive to make his father yield in respect of him, and we are sure to do (it) | 
| Mohammad Shafi They said, "We will plead for him with his father, and we will most certainly do that | 
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall They said: We will try to win him from his father: that we will surely do | 
| Mufti Taqi Usmani They said, “We shall persuade his father about him and we will certainly do it.” | 
| Muhammad Asad They answered: "We shall try to persuade his father to part with him, and, verily, we shall do [our utmost] | 
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali They said, "We will soon solicit him of his father, and surely we will indeed be performing (that) | 
| Muhammad Sarwar Joseph's brothers said, "We shall try to influence his father to send him with us and we shall be successful |

| Mustafa Khattab Allah Edition They promised, “We will try to convince his father to let him come. We will certainly do ˹our best˺.” |
